Overview
As artificial intelligence becomes an everyday tool in modern classrooms, educators and administrators face a critical question: How do we foster creativity while ensuring our students’ privacy and data are fully protected?
Adobe Express for Education addresses this challenge by combining Adobe Firefly generative AI with enterprise-grade privacy controls.
Key Data Privacy & Security Highlights
Zero Model Training on Student Work
A core pillar of Adobe’s privacy policy is that student and school data are never used to train Firefly AI models. Firefly is trained strictly on Adobe Stock images, openly licensed content, and public domain materials where copyright has expired.

Granular Administrative Oversight
Glow Key Contacts retain complete control over how generative AI is used across their local authority. Through the Adobe Admin Console, Glow Key Contacts can toggle Firefly features, such as Text to Image or Generative Fill, on or off at a group or school-wide level.

Built-in Moderation & Safety Filters
To maintain a safe learning environment, Firefly includes automated content moderation to block prompts and generated outputs that are inappropriate for school settings.

Transparent Content Credentials
Generative AI assets created within Adobe Express automatically include Content Credentials, digital labels that clearly identify work as AI-assisted, encouraging transparency and digital literacy among learners.
