Copilot Notebooks are now available for staff in Glow (for Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat for Basic users).
A Copilot Notebook can help organise learning and teaching resources in one place and use AI to quickly find information, create content and potentially save planning time. Think of it as a digital teaching folder that brings all your learning materials together in one place.
You can add things such as:
- Web links
- PowerPoint presentations
- Word documents
- Lesson plans
- Meeting notes
- School policies
- Research articles
Copilot then uses only the information in that notebook to help you work with those materials. For example, it can:
- Summarise long documents
- Create lesson outlines
- Generate quiz questions
- Suggest email or communication content
- Answer questions about the content you’ve added
- Pull together information from multiple files into one summary.
Copilot’s answers are based on the notebook’s contents, making them more relevant and focused.
Access Copilot Notebooks in Microsoft 365 Copilot:
- Navigate to the Notebooks section in the left pane of the Copilot interface.
- Select All notebooks to view the list of notebooks you’ve created, sorted from newest to oldest.
- Or go to the App Launcher/waffle in Copilot and select Notebooks or search for it in your Microsoft 365 apps.
