Microsoft is rolling out a redesigned SharePoint experience, featuring a new app bar and updated navigation. This new experience will automatically apply to all Glow M365 users, replacing the current interface.
- General rollout begins: Mid-June 2026
- Expected completion: Mid-July 2026
What this means for you
- You will see a redesigned SharePoint app bar, introducing new sections such as Discover, Publish, Build, OneDrive, and Home (once rollout is complete)
- Pages, news, libraries, and lists will have an updated look and feel
- Some AI-assisted features require a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence (which is not currently available in Glow M365)
- The update will happen automatically – no action is required
- You may need time to familiarise yourself with the new navigation
- The app bar and start page will look and behave differently
