Exit tickets in Teams assignments

Educators can now embed a Reflect directly into a Teams assignment.

Educator: When creating a Teams assignment there is an option on the right hand navigation where you can choose to add a Reflect. You also have the option of previewing your Reflect before adding it.

Student: When you have finished your assignment, you click Turn in at the top right hand side of the screen. This then automatically prompts the Reflect pop-up window to appear. You can select the appropriate monster and feeling and then click submit.

Educator: Open the assignment and you will be able to see a clickable link under the assignment name that says “Reflect together mode”. This allows you to see at a glance how your class felt about the assignment. You can also see previous responses from this view by hovering over each student. Alternatively, open the assignment and click on a student from the student list in Teams, From here you can also see the latest Reflect check-in. However, if you click “view trend” under the latest check-in, this will provide you with a Reflect check-in overview that updates in real time.

Insights: Reflect insights can be found here via the “Mood trend”. Can also see the “Top emotions in Reflect” for your class. All these rich insights can also be found with more detail when you click on the Reflect icon at the top right hand side of your insights page. One of the latest updates is “Trends” where you can view all kinds of great trends like: number of check-ins, average participation, top emotions (as a word cloud) and lots of filter options. The brain breaks (as mentioned above) can also be found here.
