As previously announced Stream Classic will be retiring on April 15 2024.
All planned migrations are now complete. If content remains in Stream Classic this will not be migrated, and will be deleted by Microsoft on April 15 2024. Please download, or manually move content if it’s still required.
Content associated with an M365 group will migrate to the SharePoint site of that group.
Content not associated with a group will migrate to the Owner’s OneDrive. Due to the coming changes from Microsoft limiting OneDrive to 100GB, any user who would breach this limit due to their Stream content will not be migrated at this time. We will reach out to Glow Key Contacts shortly for the limited number of users in this position.
Content associated with Stream only groups (groups that were originally O365 Video Channels) will not be migrated in most cases. We have engaged with Glow Key Contacts around groups with a large number of videos and will only migrate the content as agreed to the destinations supplied. No other Stream only groups will be migrated. If your group has fewer than 100 videos you will need to manually download content that you wish to retain.

We will post a further new article when the migrations have completed. If your content is still visible within Stream Classic at that point it will not be migrated, and will be permanently deleted on April 15.
