Matching Game in Learning Activities and Teach Module

A new matching game is now available in Teach and the Learning Activities. This could be used as a quick interactive way to reinforce key concepts, check understanding and engage learners.

What is the Matching Activity?

The Matching Activity allows learners to test their knowledge by pairing related concepts as quickly and accurately as possible. It could be used for revision of topics and quick knowledge checks.

  • ✅ Generate activities from existing content
For example upload a Word document, PDF, PowerPoint, or paste in text.
  • ✅ Game settings
Show the top 5 fastest times at the end of the activity and display customised nicknames or turn off to keep everyone anonymous.
  • ✅ Adapt using AI
Each game automatically shows 6 randomly selected terms – add a blank pair or generate more. Enhance with AI by making changes such as adding more detail, use simpler language and regenerate until you are happy with the content.
  • ✅ Sharing and Feedback Easily share with learners using a Join Code or a Share Link. They can get feedback and a summary of their progress.
