What’s changing?
Google are making it easy for you to personalise and differentiate documents with full-bleed cover images that extend from one edge of your document to the other.
Whether you’re customising a document for your faculty, personalising an onboarding document for a new employee or building a virtual brochure for your school, cover images help set the tone for a document by adding relevant visuals.
What kind of cover images can I add?
You can choose from:
- Stock images
- Upload from computer
- Search the web
- Drive
- Photos
- by URL
What if I can’t see the option to add a cover image?
Follow the instructions below if you are unable to see the cover photo from the insert tab,
- File
- Page setup
- Make sure you choose Pageless
- Click Ok
