CS First Retiring, 30th June 2025
What’s changing?
Google have announced that CS First will no longer be available after June 30th 2025.
What does this mean for you?
- Access: The current CS First website will remain active until June 30, 2025. After that date, you will not be able to access the website.
- Account & Data: After June 30, 2025 all CS First data on the website will be permanently deleted.
- Projects and data: You can save CS First projects by moving them to a personal Scratch account and download course data as a JSON file.
- Explore: Consider signing up for Raspberry Pi Foundation’s new curriculum, Experience CS and be the first to hear when it’s available.
Experience CS
Google will continue to support CS education through collaborations with partners who are developing accessible and engaging computer science education for all learners. Over the next three years, Google is pleased to support the Raspberry Pi Foundation in the development of Experience CS, which the Foundation is committed to making available to teachers in time for the 2025/2026 school year.
