As of February 1st , 2024, a Microsoft imposed change will see users restricted to a maximum of 100Gb storage within their individual OneDrive.
Users will receive warning notifications when approaching the storage limit and at 100% capacity, the user’s OneDrive will be limited to read-only access.
Users will not be able to upload, edit or sync new files to OneDrive but existing files will remain read-only.
To note, there is no mechanism in place via the current licence model to increase these storage limits imposed by Microsoft.
Please note that the support desk will be unable to assist should the limit be breached.
Tips for Glow Users
- How to view your storage usage – Sign into OneDrive on the web. Review storage usage on the bottom left corner of the navigation panel.
NB you will need to expand the navigation pane if you have minimised it. Do not add up individual folder sizes as this does not accurately reflect the storage used. - Clean up your files – Click the storage amount used and view the largest files in your OneDrive you may want to delete to free up space. After deleting the files, empty the recycle bin.
