PowerPoint: Forms Add-in

The Microsoft Forms Add-in is now available in PowerPoint via Glow.

This feature makes it easy to embed quizzes, surveys, polls or assessments directly into your PowerPoint presentations.

Users can complete the Form without having to leave PowerPoint, or can choose to make PowerPoint presentations interactive by using the real-time feedback option during meetings or class.

Both options are explained further below.

Option 1

Present for Interactive Meetings

When you add a Form into your PowerPoint using this option, your audience will be able to complete your Form in real-time by either scanning the automatically generated QR code, or by using a link that is also automatically generated. You can see an example of this via the screenshot below,

This option also allows you to choose from a treemap or bar view of your questions. This is demonstrated in the demo video further down the page.

Option 2

Collect responses offline

This option allows users to complete the Form directly in the slide after the meeting without having to leave PowerPoint. Users have the ability to scroll through the Form directly in the slide. This option provides a similar user experience to using the Forms app. This is demonstrated in the demo video further down the page.
