We are coming to the end of a 6 month pilot of using Google Gemini in Glow with 2 Local Authorities, Argyll & Bute and Clackmannanshire. Huge "Thanks" for their support!
In February 2025, we will be working on rolling Google Gemini out to all Staff who are part of a Glow Google tenancy.
Adobe Express School Feedback from West Lothian
We were delighted that colleagues from Education Scotland were invited to visit a couple of schools in West Lothian to find out how they were using Adobe Express for Education via Glow.
Adobe Express at Bankton Primary, West Lothian
Colleagues from Education Scotland visited Bankton Primary School to observe how pupils in primary 5 to 7 utilized Adobe Express for various projects. The students engaged in activities like creating infographics, videos, and posters, showcasing skills in digital technology and creativity while celebrating themes such as Black History Month and sustainability.
Adobe Express at Carmondean Primary, West Lothian
Colleagues from Education Scotland visited Carmondean Primary School to observe how Primary 6 classes utilized Adobe Express for Education via Glow. Students created animated Halloween graphics, designed webpages about UK traditions, and integrated videos into their projects. Learner feedback highlighted ease of use and enjoyment with Adobe Express for various creative tasks.

Microsoft will be retiring Delve on 16th December 2024, with most of the features already available in other experiences in Microsoft 365.

Safer Internet Day 2025 will take place on the 11th of February 2025 based around the issue of scams online and for young people, how to protect themselves and others, as well as what support is available to them.
