You can now use Copilot to create and improve quizzes directly from the Teach Module or within Assignments in Teams. Copilot helps you draft questions, refine assessments, and suggest enhancements.
How to create a Quiz
- From Teach Module
- Go to M365 Copilot and select Teach.
- Under Homework and Assessments, choose Quiz.
- From Teams
- Navigate to a Team → Assignments → Create → New Quiz
- Select Add Quiz to create a new one using Copilot.
- You can also access quizzes created in the Teach app here.
Using AI to support Quiz creation
- Draft your quiz with Copilot and edit or accept suggestions.
- Copilot can generate multiple-choice and text answer questions. You can then Edit questions, change the order or add new questions.
- Answer explanations can also be provided which can help learners understand some background information and context to the question
- It also suggests improvements such as adding themes or engagement tips.
Tips for using Quizzes
- Description length: Maximum characters up to 10,000.
- Add your own content: Upload your own content such as Word documents or PDFs before generating.
- Practice Mode: Learners can check answers before submitting.
- Time Limit: Disables Practice Mode.
- Generate: Let AI create your quiz instantly to review and edit if necessary. You can keep suggested changes or not.
- History: View, preview, and share quizzes in Teach Module.
- Integration: Quizzes appear in Forms and Teams Assignments.
