Google has upgraded the Gemini app for educators using Google Workspace.
Here is a breakdown of what’s changing and how it can help you in the classroom.
Better, Clearer Answers
You’ll notice that the information Gemini provides is higher quality and easier to read. Instead of dense blocks of text, it uses better formatting so you can quickly scan for the information you need.
Understands more than just text
You can ask it to help you:
- Analyse images for a history presentation.
- Summarise audio or video clips for a flipped classroom.
- Brainstorm creative projects that combine text and visuals.
Stay Organised with “My Stuff”
The app has a fresh, clean look that is easier to navigate. There is a new “My Stuff” folder in the sidebar, which acts like a digital filing cabinet. It keeps all the images, videos, and reports you’ve recently created in one easy-to-find place.
